About Us

In the heart of Köln’s Kalk district, you’ll find Haus Böhmer, our comfortable restaurant serving up rustic, hearty cuisine and great beer.

At our traditional restaurant we offer a large selection of culinary classics from the German kitchen. So if you feel like having a schnitzel with roasted potatoes, tasty cheese spätzle, beef goulash or a steak hot off the grill with herb butter, you’ve come to just the right place at Haus Böhmer. Stop by Kalker Hauptstraße and enjoy a freshly tapped beer alongside German specialities in our quaint atmosphere.

We look forward to your visit!

Kegeln Alley

Haus Böhmer can be found right in the heart of Köln’s Kalk district. Our restaurant and bar features an array of offerings, from concerts and games to live TV like Sky and Eurosport. Perhaps best of all, we have a Kegelbahn, a special type of German bowling alley that’s perfect to play with a group.

The Kegelbahn here at Haus Böhmer stands out from local competitors for many reasons, including the following:

  • There’s no need to climb up steps to reach the Kegelbahn
  • There are separate toilets for men and women that have recently been renovated
  • The Kegelbahn has four windows to let in sunshine and breeze during warm days
  • It’s perfect of birthdays, corporate events or simply having a cosy time together

The charge for 3 hours of bowling amounts to 25€.

Reserving ahead is essential, as we rarely have free appointments.

We look forward to greeting you and we wish you a successful game!
